Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar works to acidify the horse’s stomach for better digestion, cleansing the digestive tract.  It can also aid in the absorption of minerals and helps balance the acid/alkaline ratio which is essential for good health. Apple Cider Vinegar can work as a natural anti-biotic, and can discourage parasites and water-borne diseases.  It also contains anti-oxidants, which are vital to protect the horse’s body from free radicals which can cause a lot of damage.

Our Apple Cider Vinegar is unpasteurised and contains "mother" which shows the presence of healthy enzymes usually lost in the filtering process.

Apple Cider Vinegar can also help:

- Disguise the taste of water when travelling away from home with your horse

It can also be applied directly to the skin, simply mix 50/50 with water and spray onto itchy skin (not open wounds).

This supplement can be mixed into your horses drinking water or can be used to dampen feed, we recommend the following amounts:

Small Horse (Under 450kg) - 75ml per day, this can be split between feeds or given at once

Large Horse (450kg+) - 120ml per day, this can be split between feeds or given at once
