Benefits of Linseed Oil

Why use Linseed Oil for Horses? Linseed Oil provides one of the highest natural amounts of Omega-3 in a vegetable-based source. Omega-3 is an essential fatty acid which your horse cannot naturally produce for itself, so it is important to supplement it in your horse’s diet for them.

Fatty acids play vital roles in your animal’s body, such as supporting their skin and coat health, promoting normal inflammatory responses, and protecting your horse’s joints. All of this is greatly important when it comes to protecting your horse and ensuring that they live a long, healthy and well-nourished life.

Linseed Oil is a fantastic way to make sure your horse is receiving all the Omega-3 they need.

This product is most effectively used on horses that are prone to Laminitis, tying-up, sweet-itch, colic and other skin conditions.
