Why Feed Healthy Hoof? Healthy Hoof is a blend of natural herbs & ingredients that can help promote hoof health including strength, its rich in natural vitamins & minerals which can help aid blood circulation meaning your horses body can repair itself a lot easier! This blend also provides a high level of naturally occurring silica which is vital for your horses bone & connective tissue health.

Please note that the '20kg Bulk' option is made to order and may take 3–4 days to dispatch.

Feeding Guide

This product can be mixed with your horses daily feed at the following amounts:

Small Horse (Under 450kg) - 25g per day, this can be split between feeds or given at once
Large Horse (450kg+) - 50g per day, this can be split between feeds or given at once

Composition

Seaweed, Rosehips, Nettle & Cleavers.
Nothing else is added or taken away.

Feeding as an Infusion

Many herbs, including Healthy Hoof, can be fed as an infusion, this helps the active ingredients become readily available faster and are more easily absorbed by your horse.

1. Put the daily required amount of herbs in a bucket (quantities stated above)
2. Add 1/2 pint (300ml) of boiling water to the herbs, mix and then allow to cool
3. When cooled, the whole infusion (including the herbs) can be used to dampen down your horses feed.

If you don't have access to a kettle you can just soak your herbs overnight and this will also help your horse absorb the natural vitamins, minerals & active ingredients.

Cleavers

Supports the lymphatic & urinary systems, it can be used for any soft swelling and fluid retention.

Nettle Leaves

Supports a healthy blood supply, cardiovascular system and circulation thanks to high levels of iron, vitamin C and potassium. Great for urinary system support & as a conditioning supplement.

Rosehip Shells

Contains powerful antioxidants that supports joint health & hoof strength, aid circulation. These help to support the immune system particularly useful for horses recovering from injury or illness.

Seaweed Meal

A rich source of organic minerals and vitamins, seaweed is especially rich in iodine. It has been used throughout history as a source of micronutrients.

How long will it take to work?

This varies according to each individual horse. Generally though you will need to give 2-3 weeks for dried herbs, however many of our customers have reported a beneficial effect after just a few days.

Orders over £50.00 will receive free UK mainland delivery. Orders below £50.00 will be charged £4.95.

Returns are accepted within 30 days. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused in its original packaging.
