Why Feed Joint Support Plus? This blend of powerful dried herbs has been specifically formulated to help support your horses joints, designed for stiffer or older horses who need extra joint support. Joint Support Plus helps with mobility as it supports the joint structures as well as the surrounding muscles. This all natural supplement will also help with muscle recovery, it is highly palatable and can be fed to horses of all ages.

Please note that the '20kg Bulk' option is made to order and may take 3–4 days to dispatch.

Feeding Guide

This product can be mixed with your horses daily feed at the following amounts:

  • Small Horse (Under 450kg) - 15g per day, this can be split between feeds or given at once
  • Large Horse (450kg+) - 30g per day, this can be split between feeds or given at once

Composition

Meadowsweet, Cut Nettle Leaf, Cut Hawthorn Leaf, Cut Dandelion Leaf, Rosehips, Burdock Root & Devils Claw Root.
Nothing else is added or taken away.

Feeding as an Infusion

Many herbs, including Joint Support Plus, can be fed as an infusion, this helps the active ingredients become readily available faster and are more easily absorbed by your horse.

1. Put the daily required amount of herbs in a bucket (quantities stated above)
2. Add 1/2 pint (300ml) of boiling water to the herbs, mix and then allow to cool
3. When cooled, the whole infusion (including the herbs) can be used to dampen down your horses feed.


If you don't have access to a kettle you can just soak your herbs overnight and this will also help your horse absorb the natural vitamins, minerals & active ingredients.

Burdock

An excellent aid to digestion and supports liver and kidney function. Can be useful as a tissue cleanser, it supports the tissues in their action of absorbing nutrients and eliminating waste products.

Dandelion

Encourage healthy urination, support liver & kidney health and help to maintain regular bowel movements.

Devils Claw Root

Great for horses that are prone to muscular and joint problems as it contains 'Harpagoside', a naturally occurring compound unique to this plant. It is ideal for older horses as it can help maintain flexibility & joint strength.

Hawthorn Leaves

Supports cardiovascular health and circulation, and is kown to have calming properties. They are also rich in antioxidants and can aid digestion.

Meadowsweet

Soothing on the stomach, helping to maintain normal PH balance, and to help firm-up loose droppings. Meadowsweet can also provide comfort for the joints and muscles.

Nettle Leaves

Supports a healthy blood supply, cardiovascular system and circulation thanks to high levels of iron, vitamin C and potassium. Great for urinary system support & as a conditioning supplement.

Rosehip Shells

Contains powerful antioxidants that supports joint health & hoof strength, aid circulation. These help to support the immune system particularly useful for horses recovering from injury or illness.

How long will it take to work?

This varies according to each individual horse. Generally though you will need to give 2-3 weeks for dried herbs, however many of our customers have reported a beneficial effect after just a few days.

Returns are accepted within 30 days. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused in its original packaging.
